We executed a comprehensive first-floor renovation that transformed the kitchen, dining room, main-level bathroom, and everyday entry of this 1920’s home, while adding a new mudroom designed for a growing family.

Our team completed extensive structural reconstruction, removing the existing floor and framing systems down to the earth below. This allowed us to stabilize the foundation, address water intrusion, upgrade mechanical systems, and completely rebuild the floor system. We preserved the home’s original character while introducing modern details, including custom cabinetry, marble countertops, handmade tile, designer fixtures, heated mudroom flooring, and thoughtfully planned storage. A new Dutch door was added between the mudroom and kitchen to help blend the spaces. Because the homeowners remained in the home during construction, we prioritized dust containment, floor protection, and daily cleaning. Ultimately, we delivered a renovation that honors the home’s 1920’s character while providing the craftsmanship, functionality, and refined details a modern family needs.
